How many photos do you take?
As many as we need but we won’t just take the same photo over & over with different outfits. My aim is to shoot a variety of setups/looks/locations & styles so you have plenty to pick from.

  • How long does it take?
Usually a session lasts 2 hours. I won’t be rushing you out of the door if we need more time though, and if we get what you wanted straight away we’ll push on to get something even better.

  • Where do you shoot?
We’ll always start off in my studio, even if it’s just for a chat to figure out what will work for you. Apart from my studio space there’s a few locations around Manchester City Centre that I use.

  • Studio or Outdoors?
I think there’s a place for both in headshots. Studio gives us less variables to deal with so we can really control exactly how the images look, shooting outdoors means we have to think about the weather, time of day and location but the results can be amazing.

  • What should I wear?
Clothes that you feel confident and comfortable in. Nothing old and worn. Black t-shirts scream drama school, wear something that’s you.

  • Makeup?
Don’t wear shit loads. I want to see you, not your makeup. No fake eyelashes.

  • How much editing do you do?
I try to get as much right at the time of making a photograph. If i’m editing it’s just to reduce temporary blemishes. I won’t photoshop the hell out of you.

  • I hate having my photos taken what should I do?
We’re going to have fun, I don’t stress on a shoot.
